NETWORK FISHERS OF MEN
ABOUT US:
The ministry Network Fishers of Men was established by pastors and church leaders. Network Fishers of Men is a ministry of disciples in the churches, fundamentally men, with the objective and vision to encourage and exhort that the church fulfills the mandate of the Lord Jesus Christ to disciple believers, especially men, which have been called by God at his time.
The base of what the Network Fishers of Men seeks to do, or the objectives of this ministry are:
-
To return and strengthen the primary role given by the Lord to his church, through the local churches (I Timothy. 3:15, Ephesians. 3: 10)
-
To reestablish and strengthen the work and ministry of the pastors that through the local churches, are the servants God to do his work
-
Recover and strengthen the role of men as servants and disciples of the Lord, and as priests of their families, heads of their households
-
Recover and strengthen the role of marriages in God's plan (as an institution established by God) to bring glory to the name of God
-
Strengthen and protect the family, as an institution established by God (the first church) to fulfill the role of training children in the knowledge of the Lord and his Word
-
Through the ministry of husbands, strengthen the role of women as the ideal help of the husband and co-heirs of God’s kingdom
-
Through the ministry of the parents, recover the respect of the children for the parents, so that the children return their heart to God and their parents
-
That prepared couples open their houses to prayer, teaching the Word of God, and preaching the Bible-based Gospel (Bethany Households)
MATTHEW 4:19.
The verse that God has placed in our heart to carry out this ministry, is the text of Matthew 4:19, that says: “And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
In this verse we see several important truths:
-
“And he said to you”: The Word of God, what God says, should be the foundation of any ministry
-
The Lord makes the call to us and that that call is to go after the Lord
-
That the call to follow the Lord, to go after him, comes before the service
-
That the service in the work of God is then, a result of what God does in our own life: because we are his disciples, we are following the Lord.
-
That God wants to use us to reach other men/women (fish) and teach them to go after him, so that in time, those men/women reach others (fish; sense of reproduction)
-
That the Lord calls us to do the work of God in his way, and not through the methods of men (John 21: 3-6).
